Do the scope mounts come with rings?
The quoted price includes two rings, either 2.54mm (1”) or 30mm. Select the size before you move on to the “check-out.”
What tools do I need for installation?
The rings are secured to the mount with 3mm head Allen (Hex) screws, included in the price. In addition, the mount is shipped with a spare set of screws, as well as a 3mm hex tool!
Are Ma-Si QD mount rings interchangeable?
Yes, the same rings fit all our QD mounts. Currently we offer 25.4mm (1”) and 30mm rings. 34mm and 36mm rings will be made available soon.
What maintenance is required?
Keep the mounts clean and dry. Wipe off dirt and excess moisture with a clean cloth, and allow the mount to air dry. Application of heat to “speed up” drying is not recommended.
The Picatinny mounts are factory sealed and maintenance free. Simply keep them clean and dry, and wipe off dirt and excess moisture. Dis-assembly attempts will automatically void the manufacturer’s warranty.
If required, all other QD mounts can be easily disassembled, cleaned and reassembled. Use a thin layer of good quality, no-drip grease on moving parts when reassembling the mount components.
What materials are used, and how are they finished?
All quick-detach mounts are made using high-grade aluminum alloys, with anodized finish. The fasteners are high-grade steel.
What about this “VAT?”
“VAT,” or Value Added Tax is a sales tax that is applied ONLY to domestic sales. Orders from outside Finland are VAT exempt.
What about shipping costs?
Shipping costs vary depending on the destination. Add the item you want to the “shopping cart,” fill in your shipping information, and the shipping charges will be shown automatically.
How do I pay?
Domestic purchases are usually paid using bank transfer. For your convenience, purchases from abroad can now be done using “PayPal.”
How fast can you ship the goods?
Unless we are sold out of a specific product (and we’d let you know before accepting your payment,) the item is shipped usually the next business day, and no later than five business days after receipt of payment.
How is the product shipped?
Both domestic and foreign orders are shipped using postal service – its simple, reliable, and cost efficient.
What about returns?
In general, you have 14 days from receipt of the goods to return it in its original condition, for full refund. Some restrictions do apply – please read paragraph 7 and 8 of the “General Terms and Conditions,” located at the checkout.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
Masina-Tuote OY guarantees its products to be free of defects in workmanship and/or materials for one full year of receipt of the product. For more details, please read paragraph 9 of the “General Terms and Conditions,” located at the checkout.
Are customs charges to my country included in the purchase price?
No. Any customs or import related charges – if any – are levied by the destination country’s government, and thus are the purchaser’s responsibility.
